3 HARMONIA Calls - CALLS FOR COOPERATION!

Translation Call

We would like to make the HARMONIA Manifesto available in many languages of the world:

    -    improve our translation into english/american,

    -    then in all other languages of Europe, including Spanish, Russian, French, Italian and Turkish,

    -    finally in all other languages of the world, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi.

Therefore we are looking for

    -    Volunteers who take pleasure in incorporating the text of the Manifesto into their

          mother tongue, and

    -    Patrons who are willing to pay the costs of a professional translation.

We know that a translation is not easy, because core terms such as Anliegen (concerns) and Stimmigkeit (harmony) have a semantic field in German that can hardly be translated without loss. This should not put anyone off: Perhaps one or the other term simply has to remain as a German loanword.

All foreign language versions are published on the website www.harmoniamanifest.net, where you can also find the current status of the translations. We are happy to contribute our time, knowledge and ideas to the translation work and answer any questions you may have about the manifesto, rights, forms of publication, financing, etc.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who have taken part in the HARMONIA Translation Call.

Music Call

We believe that music is the natural form of expression for the contents of the manifesto. Music is a universal language that everyone understands. Music can express so much more than the German language. And music naturally stands for cooperation, consonance, resonance and harmony.

We are therefore looking for artists (musicians, composers, improvisers) who take pleasure in expressing the ideas of the Manifesto in the language of music.

Not necessarily thesis for thesis. But perhaps the relationship between harmony and conclusiveness can be put into music, for example, how both exclude, complement and transform each other. Conclusiveness with the association of purposefulness, one-sidedness, competition and efficiency, harmony with connection, respect, peace, win-win. Or... Or... Of course always in full artistic freedom.

As works we can imagine a lot: from ringtones, to pop songs, to jazz or symphonies. We are happy to contribute our time, knowledge and ideas and answer all questions regarding the manifesto, rights, forms of publication, financing etc.

We would like to thank all those who participate in the HARMONIA Music Call from the bottom of our hearts.

Film Call

Images touch on a completely different level than language. Images are powerful, fascinating, complex. And as a film, together with plot, editing and sound, they can achieve a rather holistic expression. Much more than the meagre metaphors of the Manifesto.

We are therefore looking for film artists who are interested in making the Manifesto as a film.

Perhaps as a thesis for film students, as a challenge for professionals or as a finger exercise for geniuses. Probably the 12 Theses will not make a good plot. But would it be possible to present the core of the harmony in pictures? The full freedom of artists is a matter of course and an opportunity for us.

We can imagine a lot: From a second clip to a big movie. A funny video clip about how the mindsets collide, a documentary about harmony and conclusiveness in our world, a science film about what happens within us and between us when we use these mindsets, a feature film, an animation ....

We are happy to contribute our time, knowledge and ideas and answer all questions about the Manifesto, rights, forms of publication, financing, etc.

To all who participate in the HARMONIA Film Call, we thank from the bottom of our hearts.
